OKX understands that users will flow to DeFi or chains for yield opportunities. To capture this flow they want to capitalize on two things: chain ownership and benefits of a specific type of chain(zk). OKX has one the largest exchanges in the Asia Pacific region and is a prominent figure at most crypto conferences.

Opportunity for Bal/Aura

⁃ OKX has mentioned that they will work with liquidity providers to seed liquidity pools for high-quality assets such as LSTs ⁃ OKX agreed to leverage their networking channels and Asia audience to help Balancer tap into an audience that Balancer may lack reach in ⁃ OKX does have campaigns planned to help generate user activity.

⁃ Whether or not there will be grants or similar is not known

Opportunity for X1:

⁃ Bal/Aura have a ton of LST relationships ⁃ Bal v3 is launching in q2 which will be a major catalyst for both ecosystems. ⁃ Top tier teams for both projects-X1 considers Balancer and Aura a top tier project that can bring legitimacy to their chain.
